In order to achieve this project, the following are the objectives :
- To increase numbers of women participating in elected leadership positions.
- To improve the levels of illiteracy to women on empowerment programs.
- To increase the presence of local products designed by women in international markets.
- To build and strengthen a support system among men to Fight Gender-Based Violence(GBV).
- To raise awareness by increasing access to information on Empowerment and Entrepreneurship programs among women.
With the successful implementation of this project the following are the expected outcomes;
- 80% of women gaining interest in participating in elected leadership positions in the district.
- The high number of Women participating in literacy programs to increase by 100%.
- Increase of women participating in the designing and crafting products to be sold at international festivals by 95%.
- Creating employment among women by 85%.
- Increment of Numbers of men supports women programs which will lead to a reduction in the cases of Gender-based violence (GBV) by 95%.
- To increase access and knowledge to the community on agencies providing women empowerment and entrepreneurship programs.
- Increase in the number of women taking up initiatives to improve their entrepreneurship and empowerment skills.
- Ending of the intergenerational transfer of poverty at a household level due to women providing an extra income to the household.

– Activity 1: Capacity-building Workshop for Women leadership empowerment Training.
– Activity 2: Capacity building workshop for Anti Gender-based violence Committee
– Activity 3: Capable Women`s Expo Event

This project will benefit both direct and indirect beneficiaries.
Direct Beneficiaries
- 20 Women will be participating in the capacity building workshop.
These women will be training as Trainer of Trainees (ToTs) equipped with skills to form women clubs where they will be facilitating leadership skills and entrepreneurship skills to other women in the community.
- 10 Men who will attend a GBV strengthening mechanism workshop.
These men are advocates of gender based violence they will be raising awareness through messages to people on every community gatherings as well as offering advice and support to families experiencing marital problems that can lead to GBV.
